Shortly after start, at the southeastern entrance

Scout Leader Tahiri and her team enter the camp under cover of stealth.

Vanguard Scout Saruko plants a bomb at the southeastern gate.

Vanguard Scout Saruko: Charges planted. (laugh) Oh. This is going to be loud.

Scout Leader Tahiri: Ready for the next one.

When Stravig the Defender spawns

Champion Stravig the Defender: Stupid invaders! You cannot win against the might of an ogre! Hahaha!

Champion Stravig the Defender: Arise Koptrik and teach these fools the meaning of fear!

Notes

Bug:

Sometimes the Charr and Human NPCs will make it to Hunter's Gorge but get stuck before they're able to start this event, blocking progression.

• Participating in the killing of Champion Stravig the Defender or Koptrik does not give credit towards the event. You must destroy houses or huts during the first stage of the event in order to receive a reward.
• For this event to start, the attacking side's NPCs (humans or charr) need to be revived if they were defeated.
  • On the charr side: look for Maybri Shadowstalker and Legionnaire Slashclaw near the northern gate.
  • On the human side: look for Vanguard Scout Finley and Captain Gregory near the southern gate.
• Tahiri, Saruko, Alessandra and Max will infiltrate the southeastern entrance near Ogre Road Waypoint. They rarely penetrate far without help.
  • Once inside, Alessandra will offer her Ebon Vanguard Flare bundle as she did during Kill the ogre leaders of Sapper's Delve and hold the hill (31).
• Failure will force the attackers out. All ogres in the kraal will be imbued with the  Ogre Triumph effect. Defend events for Sapper's Delve and/or Bloodgorge Watch should soon follow.
