Dialogue
- Speaking to NPCs at First Haven
- Clerk Ulva: Help us, please. We need these defenses back up before the undead return.
- Clerk Ulva: I'm sorry to bother you, but the undead have completely discombobulated our defenses. Those shambling rot-bags could materialize at any time, and we need people to assist with repairs. Can you help us?
- Sure, I'll help.
- Thank you so much. Many hands make light work, right? Wraun is at the mines getting stone to fix the walls. Please hurry. I don't want to be an undead snack.
- I'll get right on it.
- I came by to see what goods you had to offer.
- I don't have time right now.
- Deputy Alinor: All this wreckage, all this ruin. I can feel it in my skin and bones.
- What happened here?
- The undead came out of the swamp and tore though this place. We live under their threat, being this close to the swamp. Now, we have to rebuild.
- I see. Thanks for the information.
- I'm sure you'll have this place up and running in no time.
- You're right. We have one of the best building crews around, and Christophe is one of the most admirable men I've ever met. Thank you for your kindness.
- You're welcome. Is there anything else you can use help with?
- I'm sure Wraun could use a hand getting the material needed to fix the walls. One bit of caution, he's as charming as a prickly bush.
- Thanks for the warning. I'll go see if I can lend a hand.
- I'll keep that in mind. Be safe.
- Only doing my part. Take care now.
- I'm sorry to hear that.
- Sheriff Christophe: Can I help you? Don't mean to be rude, but I can't waste time. I have to help with the repair efforts.
- What happened to this place?
- The undead came out of the swamp and swarmed us. We managed to drive them off, but as you can see the attack socked us right between the eyes.
- I'd like to help. What can I do? (same as "I'd like to help with the repairs." below)
- I'm sorry to hear that.
- I'd like to help with the repairs.
- We could always use an extra hand. Wraun is overseeing the repair efforts. That ol' grouch will appreciate your help, even if he doesn't seem like he is.
- I'll go see him. Thanks.
- I was just leaving actually.
- Speaking to Foreman Wraun at Stonebore Vaults
- Foreman Wraun: You see that? We got big holes in our defenses thanks to the undead—holes that I can't fix right now. I need building materials before those rotting meatpiles come back.
- What materials do you need?
- I have enough lumber to make a forest, but I need stone to shore things up. Head to the mine and get me some rocks. Move it. I can smell those undead closing in.
- I have what you're looking for.
- I'll bring back your rocks.
- I think I'll pass.
- Here, take this.
- Sorry, I have to go.
- During event
- Foreman Wraun: If it isn't too much to ask, people, I need more stone to secure this place.
- Foreman Wraun: Let's hustle, people! The undead are getting restless. We don't have much time.
- When enough stone has been gathered
- Foreman Wraun: That should do it. I'll stay as long as I can for any stragglers, but no promises.
- Event success
- Foreman Wraun returns to First Haven and repairs the damages caused by the Risen
- Foreman Wraun: There! Good as new. I hope the undead choke on my handiwork.
- Foreman Wraun: They [sic] should keep those rotting corpses at bay.
- Event failure
- Foreman Wraun: We're out of time! The undead are here.
- Foreman Wraun: Head for the defenses. Well, what's left of them.
