The Omphalos Chamber is the uppermost chamber of The Grove, constituting the point at which the Pale Tree's roots meet her trunk. Here, her Avatar watches over her most precious possession: Ventari's Tablet, which hangs from her trunk cradled within flowering vines.

There are two versions of the Chamber: the standard instanced version, which is accessed by using the elevator north-east of  Upper Commons Waypoint — ; and a non-instanced version, which can typically only be accessed via mount.

Notes

• In order to enter the Omphalos Chamber from outside the instance by use of mounts, while there are invisible walls near Warden's Watchgate, east of the chamber it is easily accessible.

Anomalies:

• Appears as "Omphalos Chamber" on the world map, but "The Omphalos Chamber" in the API and on the mini-map.
• During the camera transition showing the leaf elevator floating up, the player character already appears in the chamber ahead of the elevator opening up.

Trivia

• When near the elevator in The Grove, the "Pale Tree Elevator" music plays regardless of the music settings in place.
• An omphalos is a religious stone artifact. "Omphalos" is Greek for navel.
