Master inscriptions

Master inscriptions are used to craft weapons with the rank Master (tier 6) and determine what prefix, and thus attributes, a weapon will be crafted with. They produce weapons in FExotic quality. They are also used as components for Grandmaster inscriptions and for stat changing GAscended weapons.

note: not ALL Master inscriptions can be used for stat changing GAscended weapons. The stat selectable ones like Ineffable Elder Inscription CAN'T be used

Craftable inscriptions

Crafting master inscriptions requires the crafting rank Master (tier 6) and, in most cases, buying a recipe sheet.

The generic recipe for crafting an orichalcum imbued inscription is:

Some recipe sheets for inscriptions can be bought from a master craftsman.
The recipe sheets for Nomad's and Settler's Orichalcum Imbued Inscriptions are obtained as loot. In addition, Nomad's recipe sheets can also be bought from vendors.
The recipe sheets for Bringer, Celestial, Commander's, Diviner's, Dragons's, Giver's, Minstrel's, Mordant, Ritualist's, Sinister, Trailblazer's, Vigilant, Viper's, Wanderer's, and Zealot's are purchased from certain vendors. In addition, Bringer, Celestial, Giver's and Zealot's recipe sheets can also be bought from the Trading Post.

All non-craftable master inscriptions can be bought from the Trading Post, except Plaguedoctor's and Seraph inscriptions.
Cavalier's, Dire, Magi's, Rabid, Shaman's, and Soldier's inscriptions are salvaged from FExotic weapons with matching stats. Black Lion Salvage Kits have a 75% chance to retrieve an inscription.
Plaguedoctor's, Sentinel's and Seraph inscriptions are purchased directly from vendors.
Intact Mosaics are received as event rewads.
