Spoiler alert: The following text contains spoilers relating to Guild Wars 2: Secrets of the Obscure.

Mysterious Book is a book found in the underwater ruins beneath Lake Adorea. Understanding this book will open a Portal to the Beacon of Ages in Skywatch Archipelago.

In order to activate the portal you need to have completed chapter six of the Secrets of the Obscure expansion, Tower of Secrets.

Location

Although the book seems to be emitting a gentle humming noise, the pages are empty. The ink must have been washed away.

Oh well.
