Ace in the Hole is an effect found on the Ravenous crew upon defeat of their teammate Adil. This allows access to Vital Shot and Unload skills. Unlike the Thief's version of these skill Vital Shot doesn't cause bleed and Unload doesn't give might to the caster when hitting enemies.
