Slay the Bandit Executioner before they exact revenge is an event that occurs in areas of Kryta and Maguuma with high levels of bandit activity. This event may trigger after a Shining Blade Bounty target is defeated and has a higher chance of triggering if a player has a Bandit Death Mark in their inventory.

These are the expected rewards for a level 40 player. Higher level players receive dynamically adjusted rewards.

Walkthrough

After a brief pause, Veteran Bandit Casters will appear and a stealthed Legendary Bandit Executioner will arrive. While the Executioner is finding their target, they may cast Sword of Vengeance on other players in the vicinity. The event begins as the Executioner attacks their primary target. Upon starting, the Executioner will also create a bubble to trap players and prevent them from escaping, however it can be exited or entered using teleports and invulnerabilities. The Executioner will follow players through the bubble if necessary and the event will only end when either the Executioner or all trapped players are defeated.

• After defeating the Executioner, the Bandit Death Mark trophy will be consumed and an Executioner's Coin Purse awarded.
