Glenna's Field Journal is located at the Base Camp in the Mount Balrior raid. It is a collection of notes and observations by Scholar Glenna regarding her travels in Mount Balrior.
|title=Glenna's Field Notes
|Hour 07—Arrival and Initial Observations

When I heard that the Tyrian Alliance was preparing to push against the titans following the realization that there's a third, I dropped everything to shadow the event. My investigation of the largos upset simply must wait. My primary motivation is to observe the creatures—the titans—before troops eventually roll in and ruin any chance of direct observation (and yes, I know, it's not good for these things to be galivanting across the Tyrian wastes; I'm just noting that it's not every day a new titan is melded). But Alchemy be damned, I arrived just in time for a little reconnaissance.

When one of my contacts from the Order of Whispers informed me that the commander and their allies were planning to arrive at Mount Balrior just after the next sunrise, I pulled every connection I could just to get here. All airship travel near Janthir has been labeled as "high-risk," so I organized a drop-off on the isle nearby from my partners at the aerodrome. One of the lowland bearkin showed me to the path, and I climbed. I encountered titanspawn and wolves on the way—nothing this researcher would bat an eye at—but I justsuperfluous 'just' arrived just a few hours ago, and...they're magnificent.

What a marvel, these creatures are. So much more evolved than our records of titans past—the priory's very own Farrah Baelseeker has been working on collecting a full report. They're bigger and they're stronger. Is it just their age? Or something else? Mind you, I haven't the vacuity to get a closer look—although once the commander arrives, I'll gladly watch—but the footprints, the size of their spawn. The smells in the air! It's a delight, all of it, but the implications are also quite horrifying.

My initial questions are of their origin—who relit the forge? Perhaps we can't know. But I must ask.

Hour 11—Strange Reverberations

I've managed to perch myself in a safe clearing near what seems to be some long-abandoned ruins—probably mursaat or White Mantle. I can hear titanspawn nearby, but they've yet to locate me.

Since my arrival, I've observed strange reverberations across the mountain. Thankfully, Farrah had reported similar findings during her own time in Janthir Syntri, so I brought my infrasound frequency tracer—a small relic of my days before the priory. As expected, I've been able to identify three origin points for these frequencies. Given the titanspawns' movement, I think I can assume that the source is the titans.

In Farrah's working report, she's noted that they've used bursts of hot air and energy to emit stormlike tones to communicate with each other across great distances. Those are quite loud and can be heard even by us (although they're untranslatable if you're further than a few yards away). In this instance, I assume the titans have taken on a more indetectable frequency of communication to shield their whereabouts. Sadly for them, they don't know how equipped I am.

Frequency 01, which seems to linger toward the northernmost edge of the mountain's peak, is often short and sharp—I believe this is Ura. Frequency 02, lingering toward the east, is more verbose, but is usually only heard when Frequency 03 begins. Frequency 03, whose origin lives toward the west, is...incohesive and complex. It takes on a rhythmic pattern, and not an especially admirable one. I pitched it against a classic Krytan song, "The Battle at the King's Foot," and I do believe that Frequency 03 might be a sour attempt at...singing? This leads me to believe that Frequency 02 is Greer, and Frequency 03 is Decima. Apparently she hasn't titled herself the "Stormsinger" for nothing.

Hour 14—the Commander Arrives

Thank goodness, the commander has finally arrived—and just as my position was detected by the titanspawn. Now the true research begins. To battle we go! Or rather, to battle the commander goes.}}
