* The success of this event is not necessary to progress the [[Maws of Torment]] meta-event.
* While eliminating [[Forged Barricade|Forged Barricades]] is not required, destroying barricades will allow [[Demolitionist Folke]] to move faster towards the portal in the following event, giving players more time to complete it.
** Specifically, eliminating the southernmost barricades towards the portal (or to one's left if facing towards the portal) will provide the shortest route to the portal.
** Other barricades can be ignored to save time and effort.
