[[Absorb the essence from charged crystals for Ixcic's Sparkling Effervescence]] is a level 15 [[dynamic event]] in [[Bazaar Docks]]. This event alternates on a set timer (synchronised across all servers, similar to world bosses) with the [[Participate in Trader Owens's "Flying Dolyak" race to the top of Labyrinthine Cliffs!|"Flying Dolyak" race]] and is one of the few ways to repeatedly obtain [[Festival Token]]s during the [[Festival of the Four Winds]] release.

== Walkthrough ==
To participate in this event you will need to absorb the essence from charged crystals and bring it to Ixcic's essence collector located next to him. 

* '''Step 1:''' Find a [[Charged Crystal (Labyrinthine Cliffs)|Charged Crystal]] somewhere in the event zone.
** Charged Crystals can be more easily identified by holding down the "Show Enemy Names" key (default is left Ctrl) and looking for the yellow text "Charged Crystal.
** Charged Crystals have set spawns but seem to alternate which ones spawn each time the event begins. Once you become familiar with a few spawn locations the event becomes easy to participate in.
** Most Charged Crystals require no jumping or plat-forming challenge to access.
* '''Step 2:''' Absorb the essence of the Charged Crystal by standing near it and interacting with it.
** After a short channelling animation, your character will become "charged" and you will receive the buff [[Charged Essence]] which is displayed on your UI. Your character will also have an electrical aura to indicate they are charged.
** You can only carry one charge at a time. If you try to charge a second essence before depositing your first essence, you will be told you can't do that. You will not lose your charge and you can still come back and collect that second essence after depositing your current one.
* '''Step 3:''' Deliver the essence to the Essence Collector next to Barkeep Ixcic on one of the middle platforms of the Bazaar between the Lightning Adept and the Wind Adept (an NPC collection icon will be shown on your mini map).
** To be certain that you have delivered your essence properly you should notice both the UI icon and the electrical aura on your character disappear once it has been deposited.
** This does require you to access one of above-ground levels of the Bazaar although it is relatively easy to get there.
** As long as you don't leave the map you will not lose your charge. You can use all of your personal skills, item skills, waypoints and even the wind aspects while charged. Dying does not remove the charge.
** If you are having trouble climbing from the bottom floor to the collection NPC you can use Sky Docks Waypoint to get to a higher platform and you can work your way down to the collection NPC. This method requires no aspect movement skills and is relatively easy when it comes to jumping.
** Take your time. Assuming you begin the event close to when it starts, you have plenty of time to get credit.
* '''Step 4:''' Obtain your reward.
** The event reward is only given to players who deliver at least one Charged Essence and who are still on the map when the event timer runs out. Stay on the map until the end of the event to receive your reward.
** In addition to event credit, players will receive a bonus chest containing [[Festival Token]]s, [[Sparkling Effervescence]] and a rare chance at a [[Favor of the Bazaar]].
** All players receive the same reward. The more Charged Essence collected on your map, the better the reward everyone will receive. Work together with everyone else to ensure the best reward.
** If there are few players on your map, consider guesting to another server to access a more active map. Even with megaservers guesting can help you to find more populated or active maps.
** You can complete this event as many times as you want, there is no daily limit.
** The event UI will display the current number of Charged Essence collected and how many more required to unlock the next tier of rewards.
