* Can be crafted using salvage kits purchased with karma.
* This kit is far less expensive to craft ({{coin|2624}}) than the equivalent 10 [[Master's Salvage Kit]]s ({{coin|15360}}), ignoring the effort in acquiring Mystic Forge Stones. However, it is far more expensive per use if you purchase the Mystic Forge Stones with [[gem]]s.
* Assuming Mystic Forge Stones are mainly used for creating Mystic Salvage Kits, 3 Stones account for savings of {{coin|12736}} (see above). One Stone therefore has an opportunity cost (value) of {{coin|4245}}.
* The player receives [[Mystic Forge Stone|Mystic Forge Stones]] from [[Achievement Chest|Achievement Chests]], which can be obtained regularly by completing the [[Daily (achievements)|Daily achievement]]. Achievement chests give in total 100 Stones per 5000 AP, which on average is equivalent to 3 Stones for every 15 Dailies. Note that due to the AP cap of 15,000 on points rewarded from Daily Completionist, this is limited to 300 Stones.
