For example, using your [[skimmer]] mount will rapidly increase your altitude, and hovering can be used to rise faster, allowing you to collect particles easily.

The name likely refers to all three floating platforms due to the plural ending of "Watchtowers".

== Getting there ==
There are several ways to reach this point of interest:
* There is a [[Sand Portal]] on the roof of the building south of the [[Communications Array]] (the large tower) which connects to the southernmost of the three floating platforms. From there, the [[Inquest Jump Pad]] leads up to the point of interest via a series of automatic jumps.
* Instead of using the Sand Portal, there is also a jump pad over that building's roof, which can be reached with a [[Springer]]'s [[High Vault]] from the small pillar left of the portal.
* A third jump pad can be found west below the point of interest, slightly hidden behind the top of a large rock pillar. This one can be reached from the ground with a Springer of [[Griffon]].
* The southern floating platform can also be accessed from a large building east of it.
* The portal in [[Communications Control|Communications Control]], inside the [[Western Complex]], leads straight up on top of the Communications Array tower. The point of interest can be easily reached from there by [[gliding]] or flying with the Griffon. This does require getting past the Inquest security mechanisms inside the complex, though.

To reach the interior of the ship, climb the [[Abaddon's Ascent]] jumping puzzle until you are high enough to glide to it.

Another way to get there is to use [[Ley-Line Leap]] from the small wooden platform on the north side of the boat. Jump up to the sides of the boat, and then walk along the edges to reach the front of the boat.

Starting from [[Camp Resolve]], go north-west towards [[Northern Shelf]] and then east to [[Picaroon Scratch]]. Go down the stairs along the eastern wall and then west through the cave until you reach Drydock Grotto Waypoint. If the gate at the stairs is shut, you'll have to complete {{event|Drive the bandits out of skritt territory}} first.

* In front of the ship, there are various boards with sketches and notes about the ship's construction.
